Our Story

We’re Brandi and David Wyant, proud owners of The Cages, LLC, an indoor batting facility opening in August 2025 in Cherryville, North Carolina. As parents to three active children—Lucy, Mason, and Brantley—we understand the commitment it takes to support young athletes. With two baseball players in our family, we've spent years navigating the challenges of finding consistent, local places for training. That’s what inspired us to launch The Cages: to create a year-round indoor facility where athletes and teams can practice close to home.

Our mission goes far beyond the game. We're committed to creating a safe, family-oriented space where athletes of all ages feel welcome—whether they're training solo, working with a coach, or practicing with their team.

At the core of The Cages is our Christian faith, which guides the way we serve our community. Inspired by Galatians 6:9-10, we believe in doing good, staying the course, and pouring into the next generation both on and off the field. Our goal is to build lasting relationships and provide a place where athletes can grow not only in skill, but in character.
